I wrote a story for the upcoming CBGB comics anthology from the fine folks at BOOM! Studios, with the uber-talented Dave Crosland on art. He’s making this story absolutely sing. Dave posted some art teases on his blog which I’ve swiped below. The story is a lot of fun – a sci-fi, punk [...] is fantastic. via the also fantastic io9.com: Write comic books if you love comic books so much that you want to write them. Don’t write them like movies. Comics can do a lot of things that movies can’t do, and vice versa. It’s a shame when so many comics are storyboard-style, low-budget pitches for movies.
